Welcome to Simply Spun! By using this website or working with me (hello 👋), you’re agreeing to the following terms. Please read them carefully — I’ll keep it short and human-friendly.

1. The Basics

This website (and all the sparkly design work that comes from it) is run by Simply Spun — a small independent web design studio.

If you continue to use this site or hire me for a project, you’re agreeing to these terms. If anything’s unclear, feel free to email me at simplyspunwebdesign@gmail.com.

2. Services

I offer web design for individuals, small businesses, creatives, and hobbyists — no coding wizardry required on your end.

Before starting a project, I’ll outline:

  • What’s included
  • Timelines
  • Pricing
  • What I need from you

Once we agree, that forms the basis of our working relationship.

3. Payments

  • Payment terms will be discussed and agreed before the project begins (typically 50% upfront, 50% on completion unless otherwise stated).
  • Payments are made via trusted platforms (like PayPal or bank transfer).
  • Late payments may delay project progress — I work best when the energy (and invoices) are flowing. 😉

4. Revisions & Scope

Each project includes a certain number of revisions — which we’ll agree on at the start.

If you decide mid-way you’d like something outside of the agreed scope (like adding a whole shop or switching platforms), I’ll happily chat about how to factor that in.

5. Intellectual Property

  • You’ll have full rights to the final website design once it’s completed and paid for.
  • I may showcase your project in my portfolio or on socials (but I’ll never share sensitive info).
  • Any third-party content (like fonts, plugins, or stock images) will be used according to their licences.

6. Responsibility

I design clean, friendly, functional sites — but I can’t guarantee third-party tools or hosts won’t have issues now and then.

You’re responsible for:

  • Managing your domain and hosting (I can help you get set up if needed!)
  • Keeping your login details secure

I’m responsible for:

  • Doing my best work
  • Communicating clearly
  • Helping you feel supported through the process

7. Cancelling or Changing Your Mind

Life happens! If you need to cancel, let me know as soon as possible. Depending on the stage we’re at, I may retain a portion of the fee for time already spent.

8. Legal Bits

These terms are governed by the laws of the UK. Basically, just be kind and fair — I’ll do the same.
